About The Role We are seeking a versatile IT Manager to join one of the largest asset management firms in APAC. This role requires a hands-on professional who can support both technical and operational needs, including Python/Java programming, cloud infrastructure (Azure \& AWS), and L1/L2 support for teams in Hong Kong and China.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support: Provide L1 and L2 support for cloud (Azure/AWS) and server infrastructure across Hong Kong and China.
Programming Back-Up: Assist the team with Python and Java scripting and development as needed.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with regional teams to ensure seamless IT operations and troubleshoot technical issues.
Cloud Management: Oversee and optimize Azure and AWS environments, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal teams and external vendors, delivering solutions in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
Requirements Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Python and Java.
5 years of hands-on experience with Azure and AWS (both mandatory).
5 years of L1/L2 support for cloud and server environments.
Language Skills:
Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin (written and spoken).
Professional English proficiency.
I ndustry Experience:
Mandatory experience in the financial services (FS) sector.
Experience with Bloomberg
Soft Skills:
Problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
