About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our banking client’s team in Quarry Bay. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role.
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Proven expertise in Elasticsearch (configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting).
Good to have: Experience with Kafka and Python scripting.
Preferred: Prior experience in Financial Services.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes.
Automate repetitive tasks and implement best practices for system resilience.
Work on Big Data projects involving Elasticsearch , assorted tools, containers, and Grafana for reporting purposes.
Develops applications utilizing AI models incorporating embedding and vector databases to create responses and forecasts.
Monitors and automates applications according to particular requirements.
