The Role
Working within the Engineering team, the Full Stack Developer will contribute to the design, build and maintenance of endâtoâend solutions that power NGS Superâs digital experiences across a range of public and private applications.
A key part of the role is collaborating with the Digital team to support a website migration, implement content and personalisation capabilities with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and orchestrated journeys via Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), ensuring high standards of security, quality, observability and reliability throughout the delivery lifecycle.
You will contribute to our greenfield Engineering projects and help shape our core practices, including CI/CD, infrastructureâasâcode, and our logging and monitoring frameworks. Youâll champion high coding standards, disciplined testing, and meaningful documentation so we can deliver maintainable, resilient platforms that scale.
What youâll do
Design, build and maintain frontâend features with modern component frameworks and designâsystem patterns.
Develop secure, scalable backâend services and APIs (REST/GraphQL), integrating with first and thirdâparty platforms.
Implement authentication and authorisation flows (OAuth2/OIDC/JWT) and champion defensive coding practices.
Contribute to CI/CD, observability, and infrastructureâasâcode so shipping is fast, repeatable and safe.
Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and Cloud Engineering to plan, deliver and continuously improve endâtoâend solutions.
Write tests, participate in code reviews, document decisions, and help refine standards and ways of working.
About you
Strong frontâend engineering skills with React (TypeScript), including component architecture, accessibility and performance optimisation.
Handsâon experience with Adobe AEM (Sites/components, headless/content APIs, integration patterns) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) (events, segmentation and orchestration, API/webhook integrations).
Proficiency in backâend development with Node.js and/or Python, designing and operating REST and/or GraphQL APIs and asynchronous/eventâdriven services.
Sound data modelling across SQL and NoSQL, with experience integrating firstâ and thirdâparty platforms.
Practical knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructureâasâcode, observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and secure software practices (OAuth2/OIDC/JWT, secrets management, defensive coding).
Clear, collaborative communicator who contributes to reviews, documentation and continuous improvement.
The following are nice to have but not essential:
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., financial services/APRA).
Familiarity with customer identity platforms (e.g., Okta/Auth0).
Experience with React-Native and mobile development is beneficial
