NICE is looking for a highly motivated and talented

Front-End Developer

to join our team in Alkmaar, Netherlands. As a member of NICE, you will play an integral role in building the next generation of our

Trading Recorder

– a mission-critical solution that helps global financial institutions prevent and uncover financial fraud. You’ll be part of a dynamic, international R\&D team, working on modern, cloud-ready software solutions that have real-world impact.

Angular, TypeScript, Jest Unit Testing, Web API's, JavaScript ecosystem (npm, Yarn, NodeJS, WebPack), Figma, HTML, CSS, Co-Pilot / Claude / Chat-gpt

How will you make an impact?

Develop and maintain modern, scalable front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and the broader JavaScript ecosystem.

Collaborate within a cross-functional Scrum team to design, implement, and support key product components.

Knowledge of creating Figma designs and integrating them into frontend codebases using reusable components and design tokens

Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive unit testing (Jest).

Own the quality of your work, ensuring performance, stability, security, and maintainability.

Work closely with backend engineers, integrating with Web APIs and microservices.

Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and continuously improve development processes.

Contribute to our ambition to rebuild the Trading Recorder into a cloud-native, fault-tolerant, and distributed solution.

Have you got what it takes?

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in modern front-end development.

Strong knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.

Familiarity with tools like npm, Yarn, Node.js, and Webpack.

Experience with unit testing frameworks (preferably Jest).

Solid understanding of front-end design principles and patterns (SOLID, DDD, etc.).

Good problem-solving skills, a passion for technology, and a drive to deliver high-quality solutions.

Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.

You will have an advantage if you also have:

Experience with RxJS, Observables, and Microfrontends.

Knowledge of cloud-native development and microservices architecture.

Familiarity with Azure or AWS environments.

Experience with C#, .NET / .NET Core.

Understanding of application security and encryption.
