Job Description
Join the team that's building and delivering the 9NOW app for millions of Australians on Connected TV (CTV) platforms like Samsung, LG, and Hisense.
As a Quality Engineer within our CTV WEB team, you'll be the primary voice of quality, diving deep into a frontend web application built with React. This role is ideal for a passionate, highly skilled QA engineer who thrives on technical challenges and continually seeks to elevate their craft. If you love building high-quality, high-performance products and working in a collaborative, Agile environment, we want to hear from you!
Day to day, you will:
Be the voice of quality for the team, championing quality practices and fostering a culture of excellence.
Code alongside engineers, building, using, and improving various automation tools and frameworks.
Identify, highlight, and implement continuous quality improvements across the product and process.
Define and set best practices for quality processes and tooling within the team.
Adopt and promote a shift-left mindset.
Work in a small, autonomous Agile squad, driving the value of 'shifting quality left' in a dynamic software delivery model.

Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
Proven engineering skills and a strong quality mindset for front-end/client web applications.
Hands-on experience in functional and exploratory testing.
Experience in developing, maintaining and executing robust automated test suites using modern frameworks and tools, for front-end/client web applications.
The ability to use technical and test automation skills to get things done effectively.
Experience with Agile work and planning practices; self-starting and analytical skills.
Belief in and prior experience with 'shifting quality left,' bringing the team along with you.
Bonus Points:
Experience using Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
Experience in testing CTV applications or similar platforms.
Experience with front-end application build, deployment tools, or DevOps knowledge.
