We are looking for a Cloud Architect and Security Specialist who is strategic, collaborative, and security-minded to join us in our IT \&Digital Solutions team, based in our EMEA HQ inMechelen,Belgium.
About the role
You will be working in a team that leads Nipro’s cloud strategy and security posture. This role combines cloud architecture, implementation, and compliance responsibilities to support both internal operations and customer-facing digital products.
How you will contribute
Cloud design \& architecture (40%)* Design and oversee secure cloud infrastructure and applications
Lead cloud architecture reviews and guide engineering teams
Responsible for cloud security (in alignment with Nipro IT Security)
Leads and guides the cloud engineers and third-party teams and developers for planning, designing and implementing cloud solutions with best practices with a security-first mindset
Cloud implementation (15%)* Implement and maintain cloud landing zones and hardened templates
Responsible for hardened golden templates for setting up cloud platform, infrastructure, and applications
Cloud security (20%)* Align cloud security with internal IT policies and regulatory standards
Mature Nipro’s cloud security landscape and improve security posture by managing cloud security solutions, apply IaC and hardening according to various standards, including CIS
Manage cloud risks, incidents, and audit support
Ensure compliance of the cloud landscape with NIS2 and ISO27001 principles
Governance \& Compliance Nipro Digital Solutions (20%)
For the delivery of digital products and services tou customers:* Ensure product compliance efforts with CE, ISO13485, MDR, ISO 27001 \& ISO 27701 standards, in addition to the Cyber Resilience Act, NIS2, AI Act, etc.
Manage ICT security events, incidents and breaches occurring in the offered SaaS solutions, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
Prepare and support internal and external (IT) audits around ISO27001 and other internal and external audits that are applicable to the delivered services
Domain knowledge (5%)* Obtain and stay current on several cloud certifications (including Microsoft, SAP Business Technology Platform, etc),
Obtain and stay current on several security certifications,
Retain domain knowledge and follow cloud and (cloud) security \& compliance related trends,
What you bring to Nipro
Proven experience in cloud architecture and security
Strong knowledge of ISO27001, NIS2, CE, MDR, and related standards
Hands-on expertise with DevOps, IaC, and cloud hardening practices
Ability to lead workshops and share domain knowledge
Relevant certifications in cloud and security technologies
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
