Software Engineer
to join them on-site in Limerick.
Role Overview:
As a Software Engineer you will play a key role in the development of industrial control systems, custom firmware, and automation software. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and deploy robust software and hardware systems, tailored for high-performance manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development
·Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in
VB.NET
and
C#
·Develop and maintain
SQL scripts
and manage
MSSQL databases
·Create and maintain communication software using
socket programming
Hardware Integration
·Help to Design
Microcontroller-based industrial control PCBs
from the ground up
·Incorporate hardware for:
o
Optically coupled inputs
o
High-side/MOSFET output driver stages
oSupport for industrial communication protocols and interfaces including:
§
Ethernet
§
RS232C
