Who we need
Nomis Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our technology team in Toronto. You are a versatile problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of infrastructure automation and IT operations. You're energized by building reliable, scalable systems and eliminating manual toil through smart automation. You take pride in supporting both internal teams and client environments, and you're driven to make an impact across the full technology stack. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role where you'll build CI/CD pipelines, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure seamless operations for a growing fintech company serving top financial institutions.
What's in it for you
Technical Breadth. Real Ownership. Modern Stack.
You're looking for more than routine maintenance—you want to build, automate, and optimize systems that matter. In this role, you'll own infrastructure across AWS, work on cutting-edge AI automation projects, and shape the deployment pipelines that power our products. You'll join a company where infrastructure isn't an afterthought—it's foundational to delivering personalized, profitable solutions to banks and lenders. Your expertise in automation, security, and scalability will be valued and leveraged daily.
Opportunity to Build and Innovate.
This is a unique opportunity to work on diverse challenges: from deploying containerized workloads and implementing cost controls to supporting SOC 2 compliance and disaster recovery. You won't be siloed—you'll collaborate with developers, contribute to architecture decisions, and directly influence how we scale our infrastructure. Your solutions will support both internal teams and high-value client implementations.
Grow with Guidance and Autonomy.
You won't go it alone. You'll be mentored by senior engineers while owning meaningful projects from start to finish. You'll be backed by a collaborative, curious, and high-performance team that challenges the status quo, shares knowledge freely, and leverages the latest technology to improve how financial institutions do business.
