You will be working as part of an Insights Team which aims to bring together colleagues with an analytical function to make the most of our data, and to enhance opportunities for support and collaboration. Whatâs the role all about?
In this role, youâll apply data analysis and visualisation tools, including BI tools, to present data and conclusions clearly. Youâll work across the organisation to manage data, transforming it into a valuable asset for service delivery and decision-making. Responsibilities include:
Supporting data projects and assisting junior members and external partners.
Setting direction, supporting planning, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery.
Conducting data analysis, improving data quality, anonymising data per GDPR, and building data sets for insights.
Assisting with data quality checks, making recommendations, identifying risks, and defining data standards with partners.
Using data analytical techniques to identify and predict trends, utilizing coding skills, conducting data experiments, and maintaining standard operating procedures.
Supporting the compilation, quality assurance, and submission of data returns, and performing other duties as needed.
What will your day look like?
No two days will be exactly the same, but youâll spend most of your time diving into data, spotting patterns, and turning numbers into stories that help teams make smarter decisions. Youâll be working closely with colleagues from across the organisationâsometimes guiding junior team members, other times collaborating with external partners. Youâll also help ensure data quality, support returns, and contribute to projects that really make a difference. Itâs a role where your technical skills meet real-world impact. Familiarity with modern data engineering tools and data visualisation tools like Power BI is important. Additionally, you should possess strong interpersonal skills, valuing both individual contributions and team collaboration. Your ability to communicate effectively and work well with others will be key to fostering a supportive and productive work environment. Why join us?
