A Clinical Psychologist with high level leadership, educational and organisation experience within the pain management field is required to cover leave for the Director of Pain Management Programs (ADAPT) at the Michael J Cousins Pain Management \& Research Centre, Royal North Shore Hospital. Clinical experience managing complex pain scenarios and in leading clinical, research and education projects required.Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until 12 July 2026 (with the possibility of ongoing employment)

What you'll be doing
Providing Clinical assessment and management to complex pain scenarios within an interdisciplinary team, including leading group pain management programs. Leading quality improvement and clinical governance activities related to cognitive behavioural therapy services within the Michael J Cousins Pain Management \& Research Centre, Royal North Shore Hospital. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:* Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist with a Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, and substantial postgraduate experience in a clinical psychological management in the context of chronic pain.
Substantial experience in providing Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy to people with chronic pain on an individual and group basis.
Demonstrated experience in leadership and management in mental health research, evaluation and quality improvement projects and communication of research findings and outcomes.
Demonstrated skills and experience in managing integrated multi-disciplinary teams and working collaboratively and effectively. Experience with clinical consultation and supervision of clinical psychologists, psychologists, and provisional psychologists.
