The Senior Application Developer will be responsible for planning, creating, testing, troubleshoot and documenting new and amended software application components.
Your expertise will be crucial in hands on development, troubleshoot, providing technical mentoring, support, advice, and assistance in resolving software and data related issues. You will also guide team members in developing effective solutions.To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:* The Ability to design, enhance or troubleshoot applications and services to manage spatial and associated data, integrating with on-premises and cloud-based systems.
Proven experience in analysing and translating business requirements into workable technical solutions
Ability to undertake administration, testing and deployment of applications utilising agile methodologies
Demonstrated experience collaborating with team members, other business units and agencies to deliver consistent, business-aligned solutions based on shared knowledge and understanding
Ability to understand complex processes and information workflows and show initiative to support the broader operations and business request
Demonstrated experience in the following:* Web application design and development including server-side APIs (preferably utilising NodeJS or Python) and client-side UIs (utilising HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and/or react framework)
Experience in ESRI Enterprise platform particularly in Rest API, Custom widget development, Experience builder, webhooks, metadata container \& standard
In the role of Senior Developer, you will collaborate with various teams that utilise a range of IT systems to achieve their objectives. Familiarity with these tools can be very beneficial in understanding the workflows and processes within the organisation.* React framework / ESRI Enterprise Platform / Cloudfront /AWS Deployment pipeline/CDK/Dynamo DB / Lambda /Kubernetes (EKS)/ Splunks/Aroura/Redshift/github/bitbucket
