Join eHealth NSW as a Web \& Mobile app Engineer in a team which specialises in:
Enterprise Systems Integration: Implementing and maintaining real time and batch integrations with our Enterprise Wide Systems like Taleo, Oracle Fusion ERP, Oracle Fusion HCM, and Oracle eBusiness Suite within a cloud environment.
Custom Application Development: Building bespoke mobile and web applications and solutions to address unique challenges, including procurement product tools, payment portals, workforce related, and pathology billing systems.
Digital and AI Strategy: Operating across the various technology stack using open-source frameworks and cloud infrastructure to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions.
As a key member of our Application Development team, you’ll design and deliver complex systems architecture, provide expert technical guidance, and ensure our platforms run efficiently and securely - aligned with strategic roadmaps and future needs.
You’ll collaborate with a highly skilled team across multiple projects and enhancement streams, with a particular focus on:
Oracle Inventory \& Purchasing for Supply Chain Management
HR/Payroll systems
Recruitment and Onboarding platforms
Financial Systems
In this role, you will:
Deliver and support solutions through the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of mobile applications and custom web applications with integrations with Oracle Fusion and Oracle e-Business Suite modules.
Implement and enforce application security, and align with security standards in web/mobile/backend components when collaborating with security teams during penetration and other security testing activities.
Lead and mentor a team of Software Engineers and Applications Developers in order to design and implement high availability web applications and mobile apps.
Drive Continuous Improvement of existing solutions through research and innovation to maintain strong alignment with organisational goals.
This role is internally referred to as Senior Engineer - ERP.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
Expert-level proficiency in the use of JavaScript frameworks (React/ Angular/NodeJS/ExpressJS), web technologies (HTML/CSS/XML/etc.), and programming languages (Java/Python/Groovy/etc.) in building web applications, ReactNative for mobile app development. Experience in publishing apps in Google PlayStore and App Store Connect is a plus.
Hands-on experience in designing and building RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, message queues, or middleware platforms).
Understanding of application security principles, authentication/authorisation, and security standards (OAuth2, PKCE, SAML, JWT).
Hands-on experience with cloud services, preferably AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is considered a plus.
Experience in Oracle database and PL/SQL will be well-regarded.
