What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Psychologist within the BUMP team, you will deliver specialist assessment, intervention and support for patients experiencing behavioural disturbance and cognitive disorders in inpatient settings.
Conduct cognitive and behavioural assessments and formulate management plans
Provide evidence-based interventions for behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia
Deliver education, counselling and support for families and carers
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
Contribute to research, quality improvement and clinical supervision initiatives

Essential Criteria:
Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent.
WHS Responsibilities:
You must take all reasonable care for yourself and others and comply with any reasonable instruction, policies and procedures relating to work health safety and wellbeing.
WWCC:Current Working with Children Check Clearance (where applicable).
NPC:National Police Check (This check will be conducted by the Health Service for Recommended Candidates only).
Selection Criteria:
Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with general registration with the Psychology board of Australia, and specialist endorsement in the area of Clinical Psychology or working towards endorsement.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding in working with consumers who have cognitive impairment, dementia and/or Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD), including formulating behavioural management plans.
Experience in cognitive screening and/or neuropsychological assessments and report-writing
Demonstrated experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement.
Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff
Computer literacy including MS Office applications \& relevant health databases and systems
