For one of our projects for a company in the Banking Industry and to perform onsite in Geneva NTT DATA is looking for a DevOps/Platform Engineer.

As a DevOps/Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in automating, optimizing, and maintaining the deployment pipeline, as well as enhancing the operational stability of our platforms. You will work closely with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth and efficient production environments that meet the high demands of the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and scaling using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Work with developers to optimize the deployment process, ensuring fast and reliable delivery of software.
Maintain and improve the security of infrastructure and applications in compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address platform performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues related to application deployment, system monitoring, and network connectivity.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for production systems.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
Continuously research and implement new technologies and methodologies that improve platform performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Document infrastructure and deployment processes for consistency and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
+8 years proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar role, preferably in the financial services or banking industry.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Expertise in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, Groovy).
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).
In-depth understanding of network protocols, system security, and data privacy regulations (especially in the financial industry).
Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and performance tuning techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with banking/financial systems, particularly in areas like transaction processing, fraud detection, and risk management.
Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and development practices.
Experience with monitoring tools such as ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or Splunk.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards in the financial industry.
