The Java Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications supporting middle office risk functions in a banking environment. The role requires strong backend development using Java and Spring Boot, frontend proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, and experience with cloud technologies (AWS). Familiarity with risk systems and middle office processes is highly desirable.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Build responsive and interactive front-end interfaces using JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue).
Integrate applications with AWS cloud services for deployment, monitoring, and scalability.
Collaborate with risk and middle office teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure application performance, reliability, and compliance with banking standards.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous integration/deployment processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
Proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.
Experience working with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Prior experience in banking or financial services, especially in middle office risk technology.
Knowledge of risk metrics, trade lifecycle, or regulatory reporting.
Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus).
Understanding of security and compliance requirements in financial institutions.
