The Windows 11 Migration Engineer will play a key role in supporting the organisation's transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Working under the guidance of a Senior Engineer and Technical Lead, the successful candidate will execute migration tasks, provide first-level technical support, and ensure a seamless user experience. This role requires strong technical expertise, customer service skills, and familiarity with ITIL principles to effectively manage issues via an IT Service Management (ITSM) system

Your day at NTT

Plan, execute, and support Windows 10 to Windows 11 migrations using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.

Perform hands-on deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows 11 environments.

Provide first-level triage for migration-related issues, escalating complex problems to the Senior Engineer or Technical Lead as needed.

Engage with end-users to ensure a smooth migration process, delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Document all issues, resolutions, and migration activities in the ITSM system, adhering to ITIL principles.

Collaborate with the Senior Engineer and Technical Lead to ensure alignment with project timelines and organisational standards.

Conduct post-migration validation to ensure system functionality and user satisfaction.

Assist in creating user guides and training materials to support end-user adoption of Windows 11

What would make you a good fit for this role?

Demonstrated hands-on experience with Windows 10 to Windows 11 migrations.

Proficiency in Microsoft SCCM and Microsoft Intune for deployment and management of Windows environments

Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving migration-related issues

Proven customer service acumen with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills - Knowledge of Windows 11 features, security configurations, and best practices; Experience with end-user training or change management processes; Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager or other enterprise mobility solutions.
