Medior Data Engineer
We're seeking an exceptional Data Engineer to join our international team where you'll architect and build next-generation data platforms using the latest technologies. As part of our expert team, including Microsoft MVPs and senior architects, you'll work with Delta Lakehouses, Databricks, Apache Spark, and Microsoft Synapse/Fabric to solve complex data challenges for industry-leading organizations. Your role as Data Engineer
As a Data Engineer, you're responsible for setting up and developing data platforms for or at our valued clients. You'll work extensively within the Microsoft Azure Cloud with Fabric, Synapse, and Databricks. For ELT/ETL, you'll use SQL, PySpark, Python, and DBT, among others.
Within our projects, we always work based on DevOps and CI/CD. We generate infrastructure services based on IaC with Bicep, ARM, and/or Terraform.

What do we ask from you?
A minimum of 2 years experience with large-scale projects (must have valid references)
HBO+ (University of Applied Sciences) or University education level with a mathematical focus (Computer Science, Technical Business Administration, Econometrics, and more)
Experience with Micosoft Fabric, Synapse and/or Databricks is a must
Knowledge of and experience with: Python, PowerShell, and Spark is a must
Relevant certificates (AZ305, DP203, Databricks associate) are a must
Good command of the Dutch language, both written and verbal
Naturally, you're also proficient in English
Availability of 32 – 40 hours, flexible scheduling possible
Able to pass our engineering test (no help from AI allowed)
Be able to travel to our offices in Rotterdam and/or Amsterdam
