Role Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager with at least 3 years of experience in leading the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions, ensuring successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and on budget. The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, executing, and managing multiple technology-related projects for Nuix customers. This is a customer-facing role, managing stakeholders from the customer side while working with Nuix Solution Consultants and SMEs across Sales, Product and Engineering teams in Nuix.
This position will be based in our Sydney office. The candidate is required to attend the office a minimum of 2-3 days per week but may voluntarily elect to work either remotely or from the Sydney office for the remaining days of the week.### Key Responsibilities
Project Planning:* Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Identify, estimate and secure resources needed (people, technology, tools).
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Project Execution:* Work with Solution Consultants and SMEs across the organization – Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, Product Managers and Engineers.
Drive project execution and monitor progress against the plan and key milestones.
Facilitate the mitigation and resolution of project risks and issues.
Provide timely and effective reporting on project status and outcomes to senior management and project stakeholders.
Ensure agreed project scope is delivered on time, within budget and meeting the quality standards.
Customer-centric Delivery:* Main customer point of contact, managing their expectations all throughout the project
Ensure alignment between the business goals, customer goals and project outcomes.
Facilitate the elicitation and translation of customer requirements to project objectives, scope and success criteria.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
PM Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in managing customer-facing projects in software development or implementation. Ideally with some experience in system integration, data migration or platform upgrade.
PM Methodology: Experience in using Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing internal and external senior stakeholders.
Leadership: Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Technical Knowledge: A strong working knowledge of the technology and tools used in software development projects (e.g., Jira, Scrum \& Kanban Boards, Confluence).
Certifications: PMP or Agile Project management certifications
Desired Expertise
Working knowledge of the Product Development lifecycle, from Ideation to launch and run.
Familiarity with Product Management tools (Nuix uses Aha!)
