Job Summary
The HR Receptionist / Recruiter will provide administrative and recruitment support to the Human Resources department, focusing on the hiring of direct personnel, social media recruiting campaigns, and employee file management. When not engaged in recruitment activities, this position will also perform receptionist and administrative tasks, including support with the General Manager's agenda, visitor coordination, and general office support. This position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment \& Staffing:
Manage full-cycle recruitment for direct and hourly personnel.
Conduct candidate sourcing, phone screenings, and coordinate interviews.
Lead high-volume hiring campaigns to meet production staffing needs.
Maintain contact with employment agencies, universities, and other recruiting sources.
Social Media Management:
Manage and publish job postings across company social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, OCC).
Develop creative content and visuals to promote employer branding and attract candidates.
Monitor responses and engagement from recruitment ads.
Employee File Administration:
Prepare, organize, and update employee personnel files (digital and physical).
Ensure all documentation complies with internal policies and Mexican labor law requirements.
HR Department Support:
Assist in new hire onboarding and orientation.
Support HR activities such as communication, reporting, and events coordination.
Collaborate with payroll and timekeeping processes when needed.
Reception \& Administrative Support:
Greet and direct visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional manner.
Answer and route calls and emails to the appropriate departments.
Support the General Manager's agenda (scheduling meetings, calls, and appointments).
Maintain front desk order, meeting room schedule, and basic office supplies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field. 2+ years of experience in recruitment or HR administrative roles (preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments).
Proven experience in high-volume recruitment and social media job posting management.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Experience handling employee records and supporting HR documentation processes.
English: Intermediate to upper-intermediate (able to communicate with managers and foreign staff).
Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
Professional appearance and attitude suitable for front desk duties.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with HR systems (e.g., TRESS, Nomipaq, SAP). Knowledge of Mexican labor law documentation practices.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or maquiladora company.
Experience supporting executive-level staff or senior management.
