Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Zurich, Switzerland. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architecture. Daily tasks include data modeling, building Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, managing data warehouses, and analyzing trading-related data to deliver actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Data Engineering and Data Modeling in Python.
Snowflake, Azure nd Devops
Proficiency with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing
Experience with Data Analytics and the ability to generate actionable insights
Proven ability to develop and manage data-related solutions in a fast-paced environment
Advanced knowledge of industry-related technologies, including programming and database tools
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
Prior experience in the energy / commodity trading or banking / financial services industry is highly advantageous
