Mission Context

Sector:

Engineering / IT Operations

This mission is part of a

global IT operations initiative

focused on ensuring the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of production environments. The Open/DevOps Operations Engineer will take ownership of

end-to-end production management (Build \& Run)

activities across all stages of the product life cycle, ensuring service quality and operational continuity.

You will collaborate closely with

development teams

, providing operational expertise, ensuring compliance with production standards, and driving improvements in automation and observability.

Responsibilities

1. Operational Coordination \& Service Management

Maintain operational relationships with development squads and participate in agile rituals when required.

Keep documentation and technical repositories (DTA, DEX, CMDB) up to date.

Manage technical incidents and ensure data integrity in

ServiceNow (METIS)

by accurately tracking incidents, changes, and resolutions.

Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and eliminate recurring problems.

Support

CSR and FinOps initiatives

, including data cleanup, optimization of technical resources, and decommissioning.

2. Support to Development Teams

Set up and manage

monitoring and observability indicators

with development teams.

Define and implement

supervision and production procedures

.

Request automation of technical tasks and improvements from DevOps and tooling teams.

Ensure production requirements are properly integrated into the development lifecycle.

3. Deployment \& Change Management

Prepare, execute, and monitor

production deployments (MEP)

with no service impact, including HNO operations if needed.

Assess change impacts and coordinate authorizations with client entities.

Communicate effectively about deployment activities, incidents, and post-mortem reports.

Test and validate deployment and rollback scenarios across all environments.

Contribute to

deployment roadmaps

and ensure compliance with production and operability standards.

4. Service Continuity \& Operability

Guarantee

operability and business continuity

of production systems.

Conduct daily operational control (MCO): monitor batch executions, ensure recovery from failures.

Manage

service requests

, incident handling, and application administration.

Participate in

crisis management

and root cause analysis for major incidents.

Monitor and manage system

obsolescence

and maintain compliance with PSI/PSIU processes.

Track and report

operational quality indicators

.

Required Experience

2–3 years

of hands-on experience in IT production environments.

Strong understanding of

operational processes, service management, and production support
