About the Opportunity

Permanent Full-Time role

Based in North Sydney (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a motivated and passionate Infrastructure Engineer to join our talented technology team. If you have around 5+ years of experience across compute, storage, network, and security — and you’re ready to take the next step in your career — this role is for you.

You’ll play a key role in supporting our corporate infrastructure services across both public and private cloud environments, working alongside a highly skilled team committed to innovation and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support in line with service levels and standard procedures

Deliver technical training to the Service Desk team as needed

Ensure infrastructure availability and reliability across compute, network, and storage (Azure and Private Cloud)

Build, configure, and maintain SOEs for all corporate hardware including desktops, servers, and peripherals

Manage and maintain network routing, switching, access control, and firewall policies

Collaborate with third-party vendors and Managed Service Providers

Proactively monitor system performance and capacity, identifying opportunities for improvement

Contribute to projects, governance activities, and cybersecurity initiatives

Follow best practices, adhere to change control, and maintain thorough documentation

What you’ll bring:

You’ll be technically skilled, solutions-focused, and eager to keep learning. You’ll also bring:

3–5 years’ experience in systems and network engineering

Strong foundation in Microsoft 365 and Windows Server technologies (AD, Entra ID, DNS, Hybrid Exchange, SharePoint, DFS, Teams, OneDrive)

Solid understanding of network routing, switching, and firewall administration

Experience managing desktops with JAMF, MECM, or Intune (desirable)

Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto Networks Firewalls (desirable)

Hands-on experience managing infrastructure across Azure and private cloud environments

Exposure to security solutions such as Cisco ISE, Defender, Mimecast, Okta, and Entra ID SSO

Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and process improvement

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills — you enjoy the challenge of reverse-engineering solutions

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams

Ability to work independently, follow processes, and produce clear documentation

A genuine passion for learning and growing in a dynamic, technology-driven environment
