Role name: Senior Product Manager - Supply Chain Operations
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy \& Roadmap: Develop and execute multi-year product roadmaps and strategies for supply chain systems.
Process Optimization: Drive efficiency in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and material flow, often implementing AI/ML for demand forecasting.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with engineering, data science, sales, and operations teams to define and deliver scalable, technical solutions.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Define OKRs/KPIs, analyze performance data, and manage dashboards to improve supply chain visibility and performance.
Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, conduct QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), and negotiate, particularly for hardware or critical infrastructure.
Product Lifecycle: Manage the full product lifecycle from conceptualization through release, adoption, and decline.
Experience in product-centric operating models and knowledge of tools and methodologies to adopt and deploy POD structures with business outcomes
Working with the business teams for detailing business requirements (functional and technical) for user story articulation and continuously building the product backlog.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in product management, with experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations technology.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, Business, or related; MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of ERP systems, data modeling, AI/ML applications, and process mapping.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Agile Methodology: Experience working in SAFe or Agile environments.
Core Competencies:
End-to-end supply chain visibility (warehousing, shipping).
Demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
Risk mitigation and supplier management.
Project management and product lifecycle management (PLM).
