Our dedicated teams have been working in the field of WiFi and Smart Connectivity for over 20 years and have built and operated a number of successful brands. We are now on a mission to support our clients on the journey to Net Zero by making buildings smarter, with a focus on reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions whilst always maintaining occupant comfort.
This is not your average 9-5 role, at Optimise Everything we are a customer driven start-up with innovation at our core, we encourage team members to grow and have fun! Our customers are typically large office buildings, hotels, shopping centres and retail chains.
The Role
For many of our customers, you will be the first point of contact when they are having issues. You’ll use your skills and knowledge to debug the issue and fix the problem!
In between support items, you’ll assist with building and configuring hardware for upcoming WiFi and Energy projects as well as being a point of contact for engineers and contractors on site.
The ideal candidate is either someone who is recently graduated or someone with 1-2 years experience working in a support desk function with the relevant skill set and wanting to take the next step in your career.
In this solutions-based role you will;
· Communicate with customers at all levels having problems on site via, calls, email and whatsapp.
· Assist the energy team in debugging IoT problems.
· Configure IOT Energy and Air Quality Sensors.
· Configure networking and WiFi hardware.
· Order broadband connections and ensure sites are informed of dates.
· Diagnose faults remotely.
· Be a point of contact for engineers on site.
· Report customer feedback and potential product requests.
· Create and take ownership of technical documentation and manuals.
· Monitor sites performance, making recommendations for improvements.
· Monitor and manage customer helpdesk tickets, finding quick and appropriate solutions to live problems.
· Keep a close eye on stock and upcoming builds to ensure we have the right amount of appropriate equipment and levels of spares.

Role : Network Support Engineer
Base : Ireland (Dublin), office based.
Term : Full time.
Technical characteristics and skills
· In depth knowledge of common internet equipment (modems, routers, APs etc) including detailed configuration tasks.
· Technical knowledge of WiFi equipment.
· Knowledge of UniFi product portfolio from a technical and use case point of view.
· Knowledge of Network Security as a standing point.
· Experience of configuring Linux based hardware.
· Start-up, hands on mentality.
· Customer first approach with a drive to get the job done.
· Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
· Experience of trouble-shooting and testing CAT5/CAT6 patch cables.
· A want to constantly learn new things \& push boundaries.
· Knowledge of DSL/FTTC/FTTP/leased line installation process.
· A customer service-oriented attitude.
· Excellent spoken and written English.
· Experience of VoIP, WAN \& SD-WAN.
· Legally allowed to work in UK \& Ireland.
· Passion for trying new things and solving problems.
· Knowledge of IoT hardware and Smart Building networks.
Nice to have (not essential);
· Knowledge of Smart Building Networks.
· Experience with AWS
