As a member of the Ireland Rx Data Analytics team you will collaborate with and support business customers to utilize data-driven solutions, driving detailed insights and automation.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for effective drug pricing within our client and pharmacy networks to meet contract guarantees through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis and reporting. To complete this effort, they will leverage data to interpret key business performance metrics. The Data Analyst should develop and build their knowledge of the US healthcare system and specific business customers domains to identify gaps and surface value add opportunities.
This role will also collaborate with peer teams within the wider Data Analytics organization, driving and contributing to continuous customer success improvement initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities Of The Data Analyst 2
Demonstrate strong analytical skills by understanding complex problems, breaking them down into manageable components, and applying analytical techniques to find effective solutions
Work alongside other data analysts to implement pricing models, including data ingestion and preparation, analysis and modelling, performance tracking and documentation
Set effective drug pricing within our client and pharmacy networks to meet contract guarantees through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis and reporting
Build automated processes to support key decision making. Identify new ways of automation and streamlining business processes
Conduct analyses to identify trends and patterns. Perform root cause analyses to explain deviations from forecasts and recommend opportunities for improvement
Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings clearly and effectively
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing rigorous quality control measures
Efficiently deliver on ad-hoc analysis requests from a wide range of stakeholders
Create and contribute to technical documentation that describes analytics methodologies and modelling designs, including data validation approaches

Required Qualifications Of The Data Analyst 2
Bachelor's degree (BSc) or equivalent experience
Experience analyzing data to develop business insights
SQL programming with the ability to perform efficient querying with multiple tables and subqueries
Experience in scripting languages like Python
Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
Preferred Qualifications of the Data Analyst 2:
Experience with Public Cloud technologies such as Databricks, Azure
Familiarity with Data visualization tools (Power BI / Tableau)

Quantitative mindset and ability to understand complex processes and strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities
Ability to own solution delivery with strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills

Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex analytic results into meaningful insight, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand
