Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Member of Technical Staff (IC3) to join our dynamic team that builds platform capabilities. Our team is responsible for ingesting large volumes of data at scale and run detections at scale on both data at rest and in motion (as in a stream). We are looking for people with expertise/interest in Big Data Processing and Streaming Processing Systems and build scalable data planes. Responsibilities:
Design, implement, test, and maintain scalable software solutions for OCI’s Assurance Service.
Collaborate closely with senior engineers, product managers, and security experts to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
Write high-quality, secure, and maintainable code that meets rigorous standards for reliability and compliance.
Diagnose and resolve issues across the full technology stack, contributing to a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with peers, and help mentor junior engineers.
Support the development and integration of automated mechanisms for compliance, security posture management, reporting, and exception handling.
Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud, security, and distributed systems.
