Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and support scalable data pipelines, modular data infrastructure, advanced transformations, and orchestration frameworks. The role involves working with technologies such as Snowflake, DBT, PySpark, Apache Airflow, Azure Data Lake, GitHub, and other relevant tools.

In this position, you will address complex challenges quickly by leveraging modern technologies to deliver highly scalable solutions. As a member of the Enterprise Data Platform group, you will play a key role in expanding the company’s use of data-driven insights and advanced AI/analytics capabilities across a variety of business functions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Modeling: Develop, implement, and maintain robust data models that align with EDW requirements and support analytical workloads while adhering to platform-specific best practices.

ETL/ELT Development: Create efficient and maintainable processes for moving data, covering both batch operations and near-real-time streams.

CI/CD: Automate testing, integration, and deployment workflows with Git to ensure reliable and consistent delivery of pipelines and ETL logic.

Engineering Practices: Apply agile approaches, test-driven methodologies, and continuous integration principles to ensure high-quality engineering outcomes.

Documentation: Produce and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for all data solutions built.

Continuous Learning: Keep current with advancements in BI, analytics, and emerging areas like data science and machine learning, actively applying new knowledge when relevant.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Data Engineering.

At least 1 year of hands-on work with Snowflake.

Strong skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark.

Proven experience with Git for version control in a data-focused environment.

Solid knowledge of data modeling and best practices in design.

Experience with GitHub and GitActions.

Familiarity with Apache Airflow, DBT, Snowflake certifications, and previous work in Azure cloud environments.
