Role Overview
We are looking for a self-motivated, responsible, tech-driven developer to join our small but high-performing team. You'll contribute to our mobile and web applications, ensuring they're scalable, high-performing and a joy for users. With high ownership of the features you develop and the project you're working on, you'll play an instrumental role in designing and building cutting-edge solutions that revolutionise urban mobility and give space back to the city.
What You’ll Be Doing
Build and enhance React-based web applications and contribute to React Native mobile development as we unify our tech stack
Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, QA engineers and fellow developers to deliver high-quality features
Drive technical excellence by identifying opportunities for performance improvements, code quality enhancements, and user experience optimisations
Contribute to feature development with high ownership, from technical design through implementation and monitoring in production
Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute ideas to enhance our development processes
Drive the migration from our current Angular application to React while maintaining existing functionality during the transition period
Contribute to team culture through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and fostering best practices across the development team
What You Bring
3+ years of Software Engineering experience
Strong expertise in React ecosystem (hooks, state management, testing, build tools)
Solid TypeScript skills with experience in type-safe application development
Problem-solving mindset with ability to spot opportunities and propose technical improvements
Excellent English communication skills for our collaborative, international environment
Angular experience or solid grasp of component-based architecture fundamentals
React Native experience is a valuable plus for our cross-platform mobile development
Additional framework experience (Vue, Ember, Flutter) demonstrates versatility and adaptability
