As
Senior Python Engineer
, you’ll take the technical lead in professionalizing and scaling the Python environment that powers our AI development.
You’ll design a future-proof setup for CI/CD, testing, packaging, and deployment, ensuring that AI developers can deliver reliable, maintainable code in a secure and automated pipeline. This is an opportunity to shape standards, coach fellow engineers, and build a modern, enterprise-grade Python + MLOps environment within a professional Agile setup.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement a
professional Python development environment
for AI/ML projects.
Set up and manage
CI/CD pipelines
within the
Atlassian stack
.
Implement
automated testing
(unit, integration, regression) and
code-quality tooling
.
Standardize
dependency management
and
packaging
(e.g.
Poetry
,
Conda
,
Docker
).
Support
containerized deployments
on
OpenShift
(and possibly
Azure
) and integrate with
MLOps
tooling.
Mentor and coach Python developers through
code reviews
and best-practice guidance.
Define and document
standards and guidelines
for scalable, maintainable code.
Must-Have Skills
5+ years
of experience in
Python
development (ideally in AI/ML environments).
Proven expertise in setting up
development environments
and
DevOps pipelines
.
Hands-on experience with
CI/CD
,
Docker
, and
Kubernetes
or
OpenShift
.
Solid understanding of
Git
,
dependency management
, and
package distribution
for Python components.
Strong communication skills and ability to
guide and coach teams
.
Fluent in
Dutch (C2 level)
.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with
MLOps
or model deployment practices.
Experience with
Azure Cloud
or hybrid environments.
Background in
AI/ML frameworks
(e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
