Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Digital Technical Lead
to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable digital applications. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams, own technical decisions, and ensure high-quality, secure, and compliant solutions, preferably with exposure to the Australian Utilities domain.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end development of digital applications using Java and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Design, build, and integrate secure and scalable APIs.
Oversee CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments on AWS and Azure.
Provide technical leadership and mentor development and QA teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
Ensure compliance with Australian Utilities regulations and standards (preferred).
Drive best practices in microservices architecture, containerization, and cloud-native development.
Required Skills \& Experience
Strong experience as a
Full Stack Engineer
using
Java, AngularJS, React, TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS
.
Hands-on experience with
AWS and Azure DevOps
, CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with
Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, Jenkins
.
Strong understanding of API integration and cloud-based deployments.
Experience in creating and managing
unit test cases
.
Excellent
people management and leadership skills
.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Prior experience in the
Australian Utility market
is an added advantage.
