Job Overview:
Revenue management at Pepsico is a strategic, long-term and systematic approach, on which we make pro-active and fact-based decisions for promotions, pack-price architecture and product / channel mix trade-offs. This role is responsible for sustainably optimizing the revenue and margins for the PepsiCo snacks portfolio in New Zealand.
Lead and implement the Snacks Revenue Management agenda for the New Zealand Pepsico Foods business, driving net revenue realisation strategy through promotional and pricing optimisation, mix management, strategic revenue planning \& Innovation pricing plans.
Collaborate cross functionally with Sales and Finance teams to create solutions to drive PepsiCoâs financial and market share goals whilst supporting customer strategies.
Responsibilities:
Lead cross functional collaboration between Finance and Sales to develop \& implement promotional \& pricing strategies to maximise Pepsico financial goals (NR \& Profit) with a balanced upside for PepsiCo and Customers.
Use insights including (but not limited to) market share results, post event analysis, commercial dashboards, ROI reviews \& elasticities to react to changes \& new opportunities in the market, and reflect in updated recommendations across all RGM levers. Ensure these reports \& dashboards are fit for purpose to provide timely RGM insights.
Lead the RGM conversation in annual planning process, ensuring our business financial strategies are converted into action plans, and assisting other leaders with insight and thought leadership on key RGM priorities.
Provide leadership, guidance and prioritisation for our offshore pricing analysts
(âGCCâ) on innovation and pack-price architecture strategies, acting as a dotted-line manager on the ground for analysts assigned to NZ projects.
Revenue Management lead across key business forums: integrated business planning demand reviews, share reviews, and commercial alignments.
Functional reporting line for this role is to the head of RGM ANZ. Using this network, pull in the learnings from AU which can be implemented in NZ, and share back to our AU team the best practice learnings from NZ.
Provide RGM advisory, thought leadership and insights to the New Zealand General Management team to inform their planning and financial management processes.
Qualifications:
About you:* Degree Educated in relevant field.
At least 8 yearsâ experience in FMCG, Consulting or related industry, with at least 4 yearsâ experience in Commercial Finance, Sales Finance, Financial / Pricing Consulting and/or RGM/NRM.
Highly Analytical with a good understanding of the impact different RGM \& Sales levers have across the business P\&L
Ability to link multiple sources of data \& create new strategies, tactics \& plans.
Familiarity with the NZ grocery retail environment is preferred.
Results driven with âcan doâ attitude
Excellent communication \& negotiation skills
