Our client, one of the top tier US investment banking, is looking for a Frontend Developer to join their Private Wealth Management team in Hong Kong. Their engineering group is crafting a cutting-edge digital platform (across both web and mobile) tailored for the business needs.
We are seeking developers who value clean code, high-quality output, and agile methodologies. In this position, you will help design and develop solutions using a contemporary web technology stack, including React JS, Stencil JS, and GraphQL, alongside a platform-agnostic design system. You'll also contribute significantly to the evolution of our frontend architecture and best practices—creating real impact and advancing your professional growth.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain dynamic and efficient user interface components.
Design scalable front-end architecture to enable modern UI experiences.
Collaborate on the development of hybrid mobile apps and microservices.
Stay current with mobile technology trends, frameworks, and architecture patterns.
Take part in architecture and technical design discussions, as well as peer code reviews.
Optimize and enhance front-end performance and responsiveness.
Maintain thorough documentation of application updates and features.
Support and guide junior developers through mentoring and onboarding.
Requirements:
Strong command of modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
Solid understanding of data structures and problem-solving techniques.
Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (preferably React JS).
Background in mobile application development.
Proficient in building responsive and adaptive UI layouts.
Experience in designing scalable UI components and frameworks.
Skilled in browser debugging and performance profiling.
Excellent analytical skills and enthusiasm for learning new tools and frameworks.
Familiar with RESTful APIs, JSON, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Good grasp of HTTP protocol, web server performance optimization, concurrency, and caching.
Strong communication abilities—capable of translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Experience with Git workflows, DevOps tools, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
