We are seeking a curious and motivated
Software Engineering Intern
with strong algorithmic thinking and experience in C++ and Python to join our international team.
Your mission
In this role, you will contribute to the development of core software components for
computer vision and geometric processin
g of 3D and multispectral point cloud data
The main focus during the internship will be on the following:
Develop robust and efficient algorithms for: Triangulation, filtering, and segmentation of point clouds; Extraction of spectral and morphological traits; Measurement and modeling of plant structures from unstructured data.
Design and implement modular software components with a focus on maintainability and performance.
Work with hardware-generated data and real-world scan artifacts.
Collaborate with experienced team members to refine methods and integrate components into our processing pipeline and software stack.

. The internship will start in September or October.
Your profile
Master’s or PhD student or recent graduate in computer science, engineering or a related field
Strong proficiency
in modern
C++
and Python
Solid grasp of algorithms and data structures, with the ability to translate mathematical concepts into working code
Ability to read and understand recent papers / other scientific publications and translate them into working prototypes
Experience working with 3D geometry, point clouds, or computer vision is a strong plus
Self-organized, proactive, collaborative and able to work towards clear technical goals.
