Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior PR and Communications Manager to amplify Photoroom’s brand across priority markets and build trust with SMBs and enterprises. You’ll own the international PR strategy, turn customer wins and product launches into tier-one coverage, and protect our reputation with clear, timely communications,

Compensation: €80-€90k* + Stock-Options/BSPCE

Location: Remote across Europe with monthly Paris office visits (fully reimbursed)

About the role

At Photoroom, PR is a high-impact role combining strategic thinking with executional excellence. You will shape Photoroom’s voice, scale our brand presence in key markets (US, Japan, Brazil, France), and influence how we connect with our customers.

Your responsibilities will span across PR, brand, and regional communication. A few examples include:

Own Photoroom’s international PR strategy. Lead our local agencies and help them adapt our global messaging at regional level, making sure it stays relevant and consistent across Tier-1 markets and running localised targeted campaigns to build awareness and trust with SMBs and enterprises.

Shape external messaging. From briefing spokespeople for interviews and panels to turning customer wins and market trends into clear stories, you’ll own how we present ourselves to the world. You’ll integrate PR into every launch, partnership, conference and event to keep narratives tight and consistent

Build our presence. From high-quality press releases to crisis communications and reputation risks, drive thought leadership on key industry topics to establish Photoroom as an authoritative voice in a variety of fields close to our product

Drive with data. Set a measurement framework for media performance and brand awareness. You will use insights to guide priorities and budgets.

About you

You have led PR and communications with exposure to the US market, shipping high-stakes campaigns and learning from a few tough ones.. This level of ownership and strategic lead usually corresponds to at least 6 years of experience.

You’re a skilled writer and have exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English. Ideally, you have experience explaining AI or other highly technical concepts in clear, engaging language.

You have a proven, consistent record of obtaining tier-one coverage in the US media (podcasts, tv, newspapers with a national reach) for a digital, B2B-oriented product.\

You have examples of pitching and securing guest appearances for your company spokesperson, and can explain its impact on brand visibility

You have strong project management skills and know how to manage communications around high-profile events, trade shows, and key partnerships.

You’re in tune with digital and pop culture, and know how to tap into current cultural moments to craft stories that feel authentic to online audiences

Ideally, you’re curious about the AI landscape and fluent in its key players and debates.
