Job Description: The Civil Engineer Technician in the construction industry is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. The role involves ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
Collecting, analyzing, and recording data from field surveys or testing.
Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.
Estimating material quantities and ensuring finished works meet design specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate with surveyors and other engineers.
Monitor progress and compile reports on project status.
Resolve design and development problems.
Provide technical advice and solve problems on site.
Assisting engineers in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
Communicate with stakeholders regarding project needs and progress.
Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent in civil engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in building construction, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Strong technical aptitude and proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of the solar industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
