Piper Enterprise Solutions is seeking a hybrid Infrastructure Engineer to join an innovative and exciting healthcare company in Columbia, Maryland.
Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer:
Design, deploy, and maintain hybrid infrastructure solutions (on-prem + cloud).
Architect scalable and secure systems using Microsoft technologies and Azure services.
Evaluate and implement virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) as needed.
Manage Exchange Server (on-prem and hybrid) and Microsoft 365 mail services.
Use Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation.
Optimize Azure resources (VMs, storage, networking, etc.).
Qualifications of the Infrastructure Engineer:
8-10+ years of experience with Vmware/Hyper-V infrastructure
Experience in IT infrastructure engineering or systems engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Compensation of the Infrastructure Engineer:
Salary range: $120,000-$140,000
