Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
Automate system tasks and administrative workflows using PowerShell and other scripting languages.
Create, maintain, and execute custom SSM Documents for configuration management, patching, automation, and troubleshooting.
Manage and administer Active Directory (AD), including user/group management, permissions, and integration with AWS services.
Implement and manage version control workflows in Git/GitHub.
Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes follow best practices for security, reliability, and cost optimization.
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery processes and release management.
Mentor junior engineers and help set DevOps best practices within the team.
Qualifications:
Required Skills \& Experience:
8+ years of professional experience, with at least 4+ years in DevOps/SRE roles.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
Proven expertise in Terraform for IaC.
Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
Proficiency with Git workflows and source code management best practices.
Strong PowerShell scripting skills (plus knowledge of Bash/Python is a bonus).
Experience with AWS Systems Manager (SSM) — including creating and managing SSM Documents.
Hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD) management, including user/group policies, authentication, and AWS integration.
Solid understanding of networking, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills. Nice-to-Have Skills :
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch, New Relic, Sumologic).
AWS certification (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional, Solutions Architect).
Exposure to configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
