Senior IT Manager

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director IT Applications, the Senior IT Manager will be responsible for

leading a team of 5 direct reports and overseeing an organization of 50 internal and external Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs).

This role includes managing services delivered by third-party vendors.

The Senior IT Manager is responsible for service development and delivery, spanning

SAP S4/HANA, SuccesFactors, Ariba, Concur, OpenText, …

Enterprise Content Management, Case Management solutions

The Senior IT Manager will ensure the effective implementation and support of SAP solutions, aligning with the company's strategic goals and objectives; you will contribute to the success of our organization by steering the direction of our Finance, HR, and Maintenance, … systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership \& Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 direct reports, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Manage an organization of 50 internal and external FTEs, ensuring efficient resource allocation and workload distribution.

Provide ongoing feedback, mentoring, and coaching to team members, and act as a role model by proactively demonstrating innovative thinking, accountability, and commitment

Member of the IT Management Team

Oversee managed services provided by third-party vendors, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met. Managing SLA through in-house / external partners.

Strategic Planning \& Execution:

Develop and implement SAP strategies that align with business objectives and drive operational excellence. Lead and manage the SAP environment and strategy; Lead platform and development strategy for SAP to ensure solutions are leveraging optimized tools and system capabilities

Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the SAP landscape.

Manage the vendor relationship with SAP and stay current and up to date with SAP’s Roadmap

Budget responsibility

Project Management:

Lead SAP-related projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes. Lead the implementation and management of the main ERP, ECM systems; Be responsible for the development and delivery of related services (incl. architecture, run \& grow, product roadmap, …); Ensure build and run of all applications of the SAP ecosystem

Responsible for the design, build/grow and run activities of the department; Provide guidance to related projects and operations

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of SAP solutions.

Manage outsourced partner(s) for operational services and change projects

Ensure compliance with Cloud and IT security standards

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet business requirements. Collaborate with peers in IS and business

Act as a liaison between the business and IT teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

Manage relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external clients, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all operations or project requirements and deliverables

Performance Monitoring \& Reporting:

Monitor and report on the performance of the SAP team and managed services, identifying areas for improvement.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Master/Bachelor’s

degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP management, with a proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects.

10 years of experience building, managing, and directing teams

Strong understanding of SAP modules and solutions, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience working with third-party vendors and managing service contracts.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based solutions. Cloud based software-as-a-service arrangements

Comprehensive knowledge of SAP software and services, including S/4 HANA implementation and support; Large scale SAP experience, and related systems, not limited to: SuccesFactors, Ariba, Concur, OpenText, …

SAP certification(s) in relevant modules.

Experience in managing outsourced support vendors

Strong supplier/partner relationship management skills

Functional acumen in all business processes supported by the SAP ecosystem

Experience in business process re-engineering and design

Demonstrable experience in building productive relationships with stakeholders

Line management and leadership experience

Excellent Communication skills – written and verbal- for effective dialogue with bottlers, customers and system

Successful implementations of SAP ERP functional modules

Experience delivering solutions using both package and custom development solutions

Experience supporting production applications including ensuring service level agreements, incident management, change management, request management, and problem management

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
