The Role

We’re looking for a talented Production Engineer / SRE / System Admin to own the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems. You’ll design and operate the infrastructure that keeps our product fast, resilient, and secure.

What You’ll Do

Deploy, monitor, and tune distributed storage clusters (e.g., Quobyte, Lustre, or similar) for performance and resilience.

Build and maintain reliable on-prem and cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like (Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, Chef, Ansible, etc).

Develop observability tooling and practices (metrics, tracing, logging, alerting).

Improve CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.

Manage system performance, uptime, and incident response.

Collaborate with developers to bake in reliability and scalability from day one.

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineer.

Strong experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and containers.

Proficiency in scripting/automation (Go, Python, Bash, etc.).

Solid knowledge of monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).

Passion for building self-healing, automated, and resilient systems.

Location Preference: This role is open to candidates based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We operate as a remote-friendly team, but some overlap with the Pacific Time Zone is required.

Compensation Range: CA$113K - CA$136K
