Summary
The IT Infra \& Network specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the network infrastructure for the offices, stores and warehouses/stock rooms for all Prada Group Hong Kong brands. Moreover, IT Infra \& Network specialist is also responsible for supporting locally hosted servers and office hardware.
Responsibilities
Help establishing the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation and defining and enforcing system standards as well as documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Support the design and implementation of new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment.
Configure and install various network devices, servers and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS) as well as servers and specialized Prada Group hardware.
Help maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including hardware and software problems.
Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation, maintenance or disposal.
Collaborating with other IT professionals within the organization and with 3rd party partners to ensure problem resolution, project deployment and infrastructure enhancement for Hong Kong AND the other Business Units outside of Hong Kong.
Support various network project and issues for Business Units outside of Hong Kong as a member of IT INFRASTRUCTURE, SERVICE DESK, SECURITY OPERATION department.
Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects.
Undertake capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers.
Manage the budget and costs associated with cloud resources.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in cloud computing.
Requirements and skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
CCNP or higher (CCIE and/or CISSP highly valued)
Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure - Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Deep understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS
Proven hands-on network engineering experience with CISCO / Meraki hardware and monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and work independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Fluent in English.
