Senior DevOps Engineer \| AI Scale-up \| Edmonton/remote
Primis is partnered with a profitable enterprise AI Scale-up who are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help own and evolve the infrastructure that supports our systems as they grow.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership, working closely with engineers to improve reliability, deployment velocity, and operational maturity.
What you’ll do
Design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure across multiple public cloud environments
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized services
Support microservice-based systems using Docker and Kubernetes
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code
Improve observability, security, and deployment workflows
Partner closely with engineering teams to support efficient delivery
What they're looking for
5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
Hands-on production experience across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure
Strong experience with containers and orchestration in production
Proven use of IaC tools (e.g. Terraform or equivalent)
Solid understanding of CI/CD and distributed systems
Comfortable operating independently in a small team

Experience supporting
data or AI/ML platforms
Familiarity with React/NextJS or Python/FastAPI environments
Experience with monitoring, observability, and cost optimization
