Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Website Developer with over 5 years of related experience to support our group’s website development and maintenance. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to build a functional, user-friendly, and accessible website that aligns with our mission and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, optimize, and maintain our website ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.
Collaborate with the communications and program teams to implement content updates and new features.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards and security best practices.
Optimize website for performance, speed, and SEO.
Provide regular updates to management on progress and issues.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of professional website development experience.
Proficient in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
Experience with backend development using PHP, Node.js, or equivalent.
Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Contentful
Working knowledge of database management (e.g., MySQL).
Experience with version control (Git).
Proficient AI user
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Availability for full-time commitment during the 6-month contract period.
