Cloud Architect:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Cloud Architect for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Cloud Architect - Job Description:
The project involves providing architectural recommendations around Azure and GCP, as well as potentially assisting in building a cloud-based lab environment to validate architecture patterns. The role requires strong knowledge and experience in Kubernetes, GCP, Azure, AWS, and AI technologies.
Cloud Architect - Responsibilities:
Provide architectural direction, guidance, and governance in structure, design, technology applications, and infrastructure.
Assist in building a cloud-based lab environment to validate architecture patterns.
Develop system integration patterns and architectural design documents.
Conduct peer reviews of colleague patterns and architectures.
Validate patterns and architectures in cloud engineering labs.
Participate in cloud estate review and analysis, generating reports as necessary.
Cloud Architect - Mandatory Skills:
Strong experience with Kubernetes
Proficiency in GCP
Experience with Azure, AWS, and Cloud technologies
Knowledge of AI technologies
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage multiple activities efficiently
Strong problem-solving skills
Cloud Architect – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with enterprise architecture
Familiarity with DevOps practices
Background in large organizations, especially financial institutions
Experience with architectural design and system integration
Teamwork and collaboration skills
Cloud Architect – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role.
