Full Stack Developer - Job Description:
Join our Architecture \& Modernization team as a hands-on Full-Stack Developer helping to shape the future of software development within a leading financial institution. You will work on both new projects and existing codebases, engaging with stakeholders and users to surface priorities and issues, and collaborating across teams to deliver technical workshops and support internal enablement efforts.
Full Stack Developer - Responsibilities:
Write and maintain high-quality, production-ready code in Python, JavaScript, and Java.
Engage with internal technologists to share practices, provide guidance, and support tool adoption.
Write and review articles and documentation to guide developers in their modernization efforts.
Participate and lead workshops and training sessions on modern development topics.
Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to improve internal development experience.
Full Stack Developer - Mandatory Skills:
5 years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in Python (3.10+), JavaScript (React 16+, Angular), and Java (16+).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
SQL, relational Database experience; Snowflake.
Ability to navigate and contribute within a large, regulated enterprise environment.
Linux fundamentals: Git, SDLC, VSCode/IntelliJ, Kubernetes.
Experienced with containerisation and cloud technology.
Full Stack Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Understanding of Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira.
Experience integrating with platforms like ServiceNow.
DB2 hands-on knowledge dialect, etc.
Exposure to containerization, developer tooling, or internal enablement work.
Data science knowledge and familiarity with Jupyter.
Full Stack Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

Full Stack Developer - Assignment Location:
Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence 3 times a week.
