On behalf of our Oil \& Gas client, Procom is searching for a Sr. Full Stack Developer. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.
Sr. Full Stack Developer - Job Description:
The Sr. Full Stack Developer will be working on our client's in-house product, focusing on upgrading the current platform. The role involves designing and implementing full stack applications within a cloud-based architectural framework to enhance the platform's capabilities.
Sr. Full Stack Developer - Responsibilities:
Participate in the design and implementation of full stack applications using cloud-based architectural framework
Analyze technical requirements, develop, test, and deploy new software solutions or functional enhancements in a DevOps environment
Apply established development processes, including code revision, follow-up, change management, and all DevOps practices
Build and maintain Azure-based front-end, Microservices, and Functions (Express/Node) back-end using Azure DevOps Pipelines
Participate in building cutting-edge micro-services architecture following best-in-industry patterns
Design and develop front and backend components using JavaScript framework
Contribute to product development, engage with team members and cross-functional teams to define solutions, and estimate the scope of work required
Support best practices including Unit Testing, Continuous Delivery
Sr. Full Stack Developer - Mandatory Skills:
Hands-on experience in Node.JS and TypeScript
Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs
Experience working with NoSQL databases (CosmoDB, MongoDB, etc.)
Hands-on experience with HTML 5, CSS, React, GraphQL (Apollo), Webpack
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
Experience working within an Agile team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sr. Full Stack Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
5+ years experience building full-stack web projects
6+ years experience writing Unit Tests
3+ years experience using Azure DevOps
Good knowledge of Cosmos DB, MS SQL Server, KAFKA, Microservices, Micro-frontends, Linux environment, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud overall
Experience in design and development of scalable and secured web services
Sr. Full Stack Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 3 month contract position with possibility of extension.
