Tech Lead – Backend (MERN) - Job Description:
We are seeking a Tech Lead – Backend to own backend architecture, performance, security, and delivery. The role involves leading the development of high-performance backend services using Node.js and JavaScript, ensuring system scalability and reliability.
Tech Lead – Backend (MERN) - Responsibilities:
Own backend architecture, API design, and system scalability
Design and build high-performance backend services using Node.js and JavaScript
Lead backend design discussions and code reviews
Ensure backend systems are secure, reliable, and production-ready
Guide and mentor backend engineers on best practices
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
Tech Lead – Backend (MERN) - Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript fundamentals
Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend services at scale
Deep understanding of asynchronous programming and backend architecture
Strong hands-on experience with NoSQL databases
Proven skills in data modeling, indexing, and query optimization
Experience implementing caching strategies
Solid understanding of backend security practices
Tech Lead – Backend (MERN) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Redis or in-memory caching
Knowledge of HTTP caching strategies
Familiarity with authentication and authorization processes
Awareness of common vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques
Experience in a mentoring or leadership role
