SUMMARY

The Associate or Product Manager leads the execution of marketing strategy and manages the full diagnostic assay lifecycle, from requirements gathering and launch readiness to evidence generation and iterative post‑launch updates. This role supports and/or leads product positioning, promotional development, sales training, customer engagement, and market research activities to ensure successful commercialization and continuous improvement of diagnostic tests.

The ideal candidate brings strong initiative, excellent communications, and a proactive attitude to drive completion of projection to achieve company goals. The Product Manager will frequently work cross-functionally with Marketing Communications, R\&D, Laboratory Operations, Sales, and external partners. Candidates should have familiarity with clinical laboratory workflows, including test ordering pathways, and reporting requirements, as well as an understanding of diagnostic assay lifecycle management from development through commercialization. Preferred experience includes work with clinical lab products, diagnostic assays, LDTs, or IVDs, along with a background in precision diagnostics, therapeutic drug monitoring, or biomarker‑guided testing. Level will depend on experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Develop and update promotional materials including sample test reports, test requisitions, customer notifications, and digital assets, acting as the primary liaison for the brands of responsibility with other internal departments and sales team.

Manage the full diagnostic assay lifecycle including requirements gathering, launch readiness and execution, evidence generation, and iterative updates based on customer feedback.

Condense complex scientific information into clear, concise customer-oriented messaging and ensure timely updates of sales tools aligned with evolving clinical evidence.

Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and subject matter experts to validate product requirements, refine positioning, and support evidence‑generation initiatives to inform product roadmap and messaging.

Stay current on evolving market dynamics in the clinical laboratory, hospital, reimbursement, and related market segments.

Collaborate on sales training to ensure effective, impactful training on products, tools, and programs.

Synthesize competitive landscapes, scientific trends, and market insights into clear strategic recommendations.

Support marketing campaigns across email, social media, website, speaker programs, and events.

Working knowledge of CLIA, CAP, FDA, or related diagnostic regulatory frameworks is strongly preferred.

Communicate plans and performance effectively to senior management.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Ability to travel domestically 5-15%.

A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field is required; an MS or PhD is beneficial and may substitute for some years of experience. Candidates should bring 2 to 4 years of clinical or IVD product management experience. Understanding of GI or immunology testing is preferred, along with prior experience in clinical or diagnostic marketing, sales, or similar commercial functions. LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Proven and effective interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a positive, friendly, and professional manner. Excellent presentation and writing skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, or technical information. REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
