ROLE OVERVIEW
This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role responsible for owning the day-to-day execution of our product development process. In this role, you will be at the center of our Agile teams, ensuring sprint goals are met, priorities are clear, quality is top of mind and delivery stays on track. You will work closely with developers, designers, QA, and stakeholders to translate product vision into actionable work, drive sprint execution, and continuously improve team performance.
The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years managing Scrum/Kanban teams and hands-on experience in guiding Agile delivery from planning to release. You excel at backlog management, removing blockers, and facilitating high-quality output in fast-paced environments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Backlog Management:
The
Product Owner
is responsible for creating, managing, and prioritizing the
product backlog
, ensuring that the most valuable features are developed first.
User Stories \& Requirements:
Write or collaborate on
user stories
and
acceptance criteria
for the development team, ensuring that they understand the specific requirements for each feature or bug fix.
Sprint Planning \& Execution:
Work closely with the
scrum team
(in Agile environments) to plan sprints, define feature scope, and set achievable goals for each sprint cycle.
Daily Collaboration:
Participate in
daily standups
and ensure that development teams have everything they need to meet their sprint goals. Address any blockers or issues as they arise.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the point of contact between the product team and stakeholders (including the Product Manager and sometimes the Head of Product), keeping them updated on progress, timelines, and product adjustments.
Acceptance Testing:
Ensure that completed features meet the requirements outlined in the user stories and that they meet quality standards before they are released.
Continuous Improvement: Drive actionable improvements in team processes, tools, and collaboration to improve team predictability, efficiency, and morale.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
5+ years in product ownership or Agile delivery management, with proven experience running Scrum and/or Kanban teams.
Strong understanding of Agile principles, backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and delivery tracking.
Ability to balance business needs with technical constraints to drive prioritization decisions.
Skilled communicator able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent organizational, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience in gaming (casino, social casino, sports betting, F2P casino, F2P Casual and Fintech)
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with Project Management tools (Linear and Notion).
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Advanced CSPO, or equivalent Agile certification.
Familiarity with analytics tools and iterative release approaches (A/B testing, phased rollouts).
Experience in fast-paced, high-growth product environments.
