Role Overview
We are looking for a driven and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily production activities within our high-volume food manufacturing facility. You will act as a vital link between production, planning, order fulfilment, and the Operations Manager.
You’ll lead a team of 12, ensuring efficient and safe production while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and food safety compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role with real scope to make a visible impact and grow your career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Operations Manager in planning, organising, and executing daily production schedules.
Oversee production lines, troubleshoot issues, and minimise downtime.
Prepare and deliver daily and weekly production reports to senior management.
Lead, coach, and mentor production team members to drive performance and engagement.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, quality, and customer standards.
Liaise with the Maintenance team to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready manufacturing environment at all times.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Food Science, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2–4 years’ experience in a high-volume food manufacturing setting.
Recent graduates will be considered for the position.
Experience in a supervisory, team leader, or junior management role is preferred.
Strong leadership, organisational, and planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A proactive problem-solver with attention to detail.
Flexible to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends when required.
