Who you are
You are a highly skilled SecDevOps engineer with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and secure development practices. You thrive at the intersection of engineering and security, integrating robust security controls into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code workflows.
You bring hands-on experience with AWS services, containerization, and modern DevOps tooling, and you know how to build scalable, resilient systems that meet both performance and compliance requirements. You’re comfortable managing cloud and staking infrastructure, and you take ownership of monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
You stay ahead of emerging threats and industry standards, ensuring that security is embedded into every layer of the development lifecycle. You’re a collaborative problem-solver who can lead initiatives, mentor peers, and drive secure engineering practices across teams.
What You Will Do
Design and implement security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and facilitate penetration testing of infrastructure and applications.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (ISO27001: 2022, SOC 2, GDPR).
Implement automated security testing and monitoring within CI/CD pipelines.
Manage secrets, certificates, and access controls across all environments.
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using best practices.
Implement and manage AWS services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.
Optimize cloud costs and performance while maintaining security standards.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
Develop and maintain Terraform modules for infrastructure provisioning and management.
Create reusable, version-controlled infrastructure templates.
Implement automated testing for infrastructure code.
Manage infrastructure state and deployment workflows.
Build, maintain, and optimize Jenkins pipelines for automated testing, security scanning, and deployment.
Integrate security tools and checks into build processes.
Implement automated rollback and deployment strategies.
Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline performance and reliability.
Design and implement Docker containerization strategies.
Manage container registries and implement image security scanning.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using ECS, EKS, or similar orchestration platforms.
Implement container security best practices and runtime protection.
Design and implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
Lead incident response efforts and post-incident analysis.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Create and maintain runbooks and documentation.
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Security, or Cloud Engineering roles.
Strong expertise with AWS services and cloud architecture principles.
Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
Advanced Jenkins administration and pipeline development skills.
Extensive Docker and containerization experience.
Deep understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and threat modeling.
Experience with monitoring tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages.
Strong knowledge of networking, security protocols, and encryption.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Security Specialty, DevOps Engineer).
Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent).
Knowledge of additional IaC tools (CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet).
Experience with security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, SIEM).
Background in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, transportation).
Experience with multi-cloud environments.
